Lakes, Beaches, and Parks

You're going to have so much FUN!!!

Pictures below.

Beaches!  Beaches!  Beaches!

Ludington is known for its awesome beaches.  I believe they are the best in the world!  Why?  Because the water in Hamlin Lake and Lake Michigan is fresh and sparkling clean, the miles of sand is warm and sugary soft, and you can always find a private spot to play and relax.

HAMLIN LAKE:  5,000 acres of beuatiful, sparkling clean fun!  Water skiing, tubing, kneeboarding, sailing, swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, playing and relaxing on the beach, fishing, going to the Ludington State Park by boat (free admission via boat), throw out your anchor anywhere and jump right in, then relax and enjoy the sunset!  So many fun things to do!

STEARN'S PARK:  This huge clean beach on Lake Michigan has free access & parking.  Three concrete walkways through the beach to the lake making it accessible for everyone, concession stands, restrooms, beach playground, sand volleyball courts, a 1/2 mile walkway to the North Breakwater Lighthouse, mini golf (currently being renovated), shuffleboard, a skate park, plenty of beachside/parkside parking, benches near parking area, a blocks-long shady, grassy park with grills and picnic tables, watch the Badger ferry boat arriving and leaving, best sunset views in the entire world!!

LAKE MICHIGAN:  Looking for a private beach location?  For privacy, nothing compares to the miles of beach leading to the State Park.  This is Ludington's version of the Pacific Coast Highway.  Less than a 10-minute drive will take you to miles of soft sand along Lake Michigan!  The beach extends for miles along M-116 on your way to the Ludington State Park.  Simply park anywhere your heart desires along the lake side of the highway.

LUDINGTON STATE PARK:  Rated #1 of 30 fun things to do in Ludington!
